Welcome to Lake George Elementary—Home of the Giraffes!

As the proud principal of this exceptional school, I am honored to lead a community where students are celebrated, supported, and inspired to grow. At Lake George, we pride ourselves on cultivating a warm, family-friendly environment where safety, respect, and academic success are at the heart of everything we do.

Our scholars are encouraged to be their authentic selves and to explore their passions through a wide variety of enriching extracurricular activities. We emphasize the importance of education, personal responsibility, and mutual respect through our SPOTS expectations, which guide our daily actions and school culture.

My commitment to you is to continue the strong legacy of excellence at Lake George by fostering meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners. Together, we will focus on:

  • Developing future leaders through character education and positive role modeling
  • Increasing student achievement through engaging, high-quality instruction
  • Using data with purpose to inform and improve teaching and learning
  • Promoting access and equity by offering rigorous and inclusive enrichment opportunities

As your principal, I believe that every person who walks through our doors—students, staff, or families—should feel a deep sense of belonging. When we feel connected and valued, we are empowered to meet challenges with confidence and joy. This mindset is what makes Lake George a place where excellence thrives.

My door is always open. I welcome your feedback, ideas, and partnership. Please feel free to stop by, call, or email me at any time. Let’s work together to make this the best school year yet.

It is a true privilege to serve as the instructional leader of this incredible school community.

Best Regards,

Lauren Watson
