Parent Leadership Council

 

PLC stands for Parent Leadership Council, and its members consist of the Principal, ELL Compliance teacher, and parents of ELL students. The purpose of PLC is to encourage parent involvement and community engagement for ELLs (English Language Learners) and their families in order to increase student achievement. Meetings are held at least three times throughout the school year. The PLC chairperson and co-chairperson work in collaboration with the principal to ensure that parents of ELL students are actively involved in the school.
